Lawyers representing disgraced Just for Laughs founder Gilbert Rozon have indicated he will fight an application for a class action lawsuit filed by a group of women who claim to have been sexually harassed or sexually assaulted by Rozon.
The Journal de Montreal says court documents show Rozon has indicated he reserves his right to defend himself including seeking to have the application dismissed.
At least 20 women claim they were assaulted by Rozon in the period between 1982 and 2016 and are seeking what they describe as " "just compensation" and "exemplary" punitive damages.
