A study by Quebec's National Institute of Public Health shows more young Quebecers have tried E-cigarettes compared to counterparts in the rest of Canada.
The survey from 2014-15 shows 27 per cent of Quebec high school students have used E-cigarettes.
That compares with 15 per cent outside the province.
The Quebec Council on Tobacco and Health says it's worried.
Claire Harvey, who speaks for the council, said she's concerned E-cigarette use is more widespread among young smokers and is also worried about the belief that it's not as toxic as traditional cigarettes.
She admited the long-term effects of E-cigarettes are unknown, but did add it can easily lead to use of traditional tobacco products.
