A pilot flying from Montreal to London couldn't help but notice her aircraft wasn't alone as it passed the coast of Ireland.
Last Friday the pilot contacted air traffic control in Shannon, Ireland to inquire as to whether there was any military traffic in the area.
The tower replied saying nothing was appearing on the primary or secondary radars.
The pilot reported seeing a very bright light approaching the left side of the British Airways aircraft, and then sped off towards the north at incredible speed.
"It was moving so fast. In fact we can no longer see it," she said.
That's when a second pilot from a nearby Virgin airlines flight going to Manchester joined the conversation and described seeing multiple objects following the same basic trajectory.
Another aircraft then chimed in "Glad it wasn't just me!"
"Guys, just so you know other aircrafts in the air have also reported the same thing, so we're going to have a look and see" said a controller.
The Irish Aviation Authority has opened an investigation into the sighting.
