It's that time of year again.
With days left to go until Halloween, dress-up parties and events are set to happen all over town in the coming days.
Among the festivities — the 7th annual Zombie Walk is set to get underway Saturday afternoon at Place des Festivals — the area around Place des Arts.
Organizer Marco Molle says the event has grown by leaps and bounds since the first one. This year, he expects about 10,000 people to take part.
From the starting point, the zombies will be making their way west along De Maisonneuve Blvd, then turn onto McGill College Ave. before returning to the Place des Festivals via Ste. Catherine St.
Organizers promise several interesting diversions along the route, including mariachi zombies, and a zombie military marching band.
There will be face-painting available before the march begins at 5 p.m. Once the walk returns to the starting point, there'll be bands performing until well after sundown, including PUP, Chocolat and Duchess Says.
