It's another weekend, with more road closures. This time it's drivers heading west who will have to be patient.
Highway 20 westbound will be completely closed between Angrignon Blvd. and the St. Pierre Interchange starting Friday 11:59 P.M. until Monday 5:00 A.M.
All ramps leading to the 20 west will be closed for the weekend as well.
On Route 136 (new Ville Marie) the Atwater exit will be closed on the eastbound side throughout the weekend.
In the Turcot Interchange the ramps from the Ville Marie Expressway to Highway 20 west and Highway 15 south will be closed during the same time frame.
The Monk Blvd. entrance on Highway 20 and the de la Verendrye Blvd onto Highway 15 north are both closed for the weekend, the Monk closure begins at 11:30 P.M. while de la Verendrye closes at midnight.
If you're planning to use Highway 15 south, only one lane will be open from the Turcot Interchange to Atwater (Exit 61) and the de la Verendrye Exit (62) is closed completely.
The ramp connecting Highway 15 north to Highway 20 closed during the week and will stay that way until at least November.
Work on the Jacques Cartier Bridge could also cause some trouble for many motorists.
From Friday 10:00 P.M. to Monday 5:00 A.M. crews will be replacing expansion joints, working on the waterproofing membranes and fixing the road surface.
The work will force the closure of the eastbound connection from Taschereau Blvd./Highway 134 to the Bridge, as well as Highway 20 and Route 132.
