Believe it or not, Montreal is just two weeks removed from a heat record.
That's right; on October 24 it was 23.8°C. It didn't last long, but a record is still a record.
Now in just a couple of days temperatures won't be that far from the one of the coldest days the city will have ever seen for November 10.
While the forecast calls for temperatures above freezing throughout the week, on Friday the mercury will drop.
The overnight low Thursday into Friday is expected to be about -10°C. The high for Friday is only -6°C.
According to Environment Canada, the coldest November 10 recorded in Montreal was in 1995 at -7.9°C.
The average high this time of year is 7°C while the average low is -0.1°C.
