A Westmount woman, describing herself as a naturopath, has been found guilty of breaching a court order preventing her from practising.
Mitra Javanmardi was found guilty, more than once, of practising medicine without a licence and has been banned from practising medicine for the last eight years.
In 2008, a patient under her care died.
Javanmardi was charged, but then cleared of manslaughter.
Investigators noticed Javanmardi had given medical advice to a person with diabetes more than 2 years ago.
