Don't put your shovel away just yet, winter is coming back, and this time it's personal.
Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Montreal and surrounding areas starting Monday night into Tuesday morning.
The current storm is expected to generate heavy snowfall, with accumulation between 15 and 25 centimetres.
The weather service said the snow will be mixed with ice pellets, making walking and driving Tuesday morning less than ideal for everyone.
While communities along and south of the St. Lawrence will be clearing a fair amount of snow from streets and driveways, regions north of the river could be hit with considerably more.
Despite the large amounts of snow falling, temperatures are expected to remain warmer than average, with the coldest day being Tuesday at -3°C, while Wednesday and Thursday will likely be at zero or just above.
