Old Man Winter may not officially be here, but Southern parts of Quebec could see their annual winter preview this weekend.
Projections by Environment Canada have remnants of tropical storm Willa bringing a mix of precipitation overnight Saturday into Sunday.
Meteorologist Simon Legault told CJAD800 sister station Energie 94.3FM that the system could bring snow or freezing rain, but it isn't clear exactly how cold it may get.
The good news is if any snow does fall early Sunday, it won't last long as temperatures will rise to about 5°C later in the day and rain is expected into the start of next week.
If you think it's still too early for snow, it's normal for Montreal to see about two centimeters of snow in October.
On Oct. 21, 1988, Montreal was hit with a 21.2-centimetre snowfall.
