Police figures show Montreal's top 10 spots where vehicles are likely to be stolen.
The top 3 include hotel parking lots near Trudeau airport.
CTV's Rob Lurie reported the list contains a big surprise.
"Last year, 44 cars were stolen from the parking lot here at the Place Versailles, (east end shopping center). Because it's close to highway 25 and the Lafontaine tunnel, theives can make a quick getaway and they would probably have to because Place Versailles is also home to the offices of the Montreal police homocide squad", said Lurie.
According to police, the robberies are largely due to a ring run by organized crime targeting SUVs and high-end pickup trucks.
The nearby Galeries D'Anjou shopping center is also said to be another risky place to park.
