Kevin McDonald of Kids in the Hall fame returns to his roots… Montreal! He was born at the Queen E hospital and moved when he was 7 (but he still has cousins in Ile-Perrot!). Kevin is a giving a sketch comedy workshop at Montreal Improv, then inviting his favourite students up to perform at a show on Sunday night, with a side of storytelling, standup and a Q & A. The creative minds at Ladyfest Montreal have come up with Pot o' Gals, an all-lady comedy standup showthat just happens to be on St Patrick's Day. Headliner Kirsten Rasmussen is a funny comic who spent a few years in Montreal before heading to Hogtown. (And Irish transplant Laura Flynn is also on the lineup!). Kirsten is also the star of Sketchfest, the monthly sketch comedy show just before. 8pm and 10pm, Saturday night at Theatre Ste Catherine.
Green tongues will wag at the The St Paddy’s S**t Show, a comedy show on 3708 Notre Dame St W in St Henri, with funny people like Chris Venditto and Leighland Beckman.Saturday at 9pm
