All this rain has me coveting gooey, cheesy noodles, so it's perfect that it's Mac and Cheese Week, is on until Sunday at restaurants across town. Order up specialized macaroni and cheese dishes at places like, Soeurs Grises downtown, where they are coating mac and cheese balls with Doritos crust (see above!) and Deville Dinerbar's fried lasagna mac and cheese. The festival's founding restaurant is Le Cheese in NDG, which is serving up a braised pork shoulder with cornbread - on top of a bed of mac and cheese.
Gazette cartoonist, CJAD contributor and all-around legendary person Terry Mosher aka Aislin is celebrating his 50th anniversary - with what else - a retrospective of 50 of his works at the McCord Museum. From Leonard to René to Jean to Pauline, Aislin's work encapsulates the anglo experience. I liked the political caricatures as well as the ones. The exhibit is succinct, and you can pair it with the McCord's new show, Fashioning Expo 67.

The Centaur kicked off Clybourne Park, which playwright Bruce Norris says was inspired by that theatre classic, Raisin in the Sun. to It explores race relations in a Chicago suburb when two families try to move into homes where they don't look or act like their surrounding neighbours.
