Get into the holiday spirit with a capella mainstays the Lyric Theatre Singers with their Christmas concert at the Loyola Chapel in NDG on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
If you missed Santa on Ste Catherine Street last month, troop over to the covered splendour of Plaza St Hubert in Rosemont, where he will make an appearance at Friday evening's Christmas parade. There will be floats, costumes and fun.
Or head to the Stewart Museum, where the annual Santa figurine exhibit is one: kids will love the 30something figurines of Jolly St Nick. It`s free, adn while you're there, you can check out the current exhibit, Curiousities.
Speaking of toys, consider making a donation to the first-ever toy drive at Place Vertu shopping mall, at 3131 Boulevard de la Côte-Vertu. The collected items go to youth in Batshaw Youth and Family Services, who are either in foster care, group homes, or residences throughout the holiday season. When: Saturday December 3 from 10am to 5pm.
