Six-and-a-half years ago, world-weary rock band LCD Soundsystem played their last show EVER... a four hour extravaganza at Madison Square Garden. Well, their retirement didn’t take! They’re touring their fourth album, American Dream, and bringing it to the Place Bell in Laval this Saturday.

For theatre lovers: Hitchcock thriller The 39 Steps and Vic and Flo Saw a Bear continue at the Centaur... and Boys with Cars continues at Monument National. And the students of the National Theatre School are putting on Jackie. Japanese artists imagine what happens when Godot finally shows up in the Beckett-inspired Godot Has Come; directed by Minoru Betsuyaku, this show is performed in Japanese with French and English supertitles. Infinitheatre has brought them over to Japan to do the show at its new home at Espace Knox (6215 Godfrey, south of Monkland) in NDG.
