A Montreal police cruiser flipped on its side in the middle of a West Island intersection, late Wednesday afternoon.
CJAD 800 listener Rick Dunne was driving past the area and sent us the tip and some photos of the accident. It happend at the corner of Pierrefonds and St. Jean boulevards.
The police vehicle was responding to a call at the time of the accident and a spokesperson explained what happened.
"When the police car crossed the intersection another vehicle that was heading in the other direction didn't see the police car that was crossing and hit that vehicle. The (police car) was going with sirens andlights on."
Both cars are a mess, but there were no serious injuries.
