Based on the list of road closures, you'd likely have an easier time navigating Camp Crystal Lake than the City of Montreal this weekend.
As per usual, the Turcot Interchange is an area you should try and avoid, but so is the Victoria Bridge, Mercier Bridge, and a stretch of Ste-Catherine St. (with your car, on foot is fine).
The following closures are in place starting Friday 11:59 P.M. until Monday at 5:00 A.M.
The closures of the lower section of the Decarie Expressway could make the drive on Highway 20 west between Turcot and Highway 13 quite the mess as well. The main detour setup for those coming from downtown or the South Shore looking to get on Decarie has them continuing along Highway 20 west until Highway 13, then getting off at Cote-de-Liesse, which will then connect you to the top of the Express Way.
The eastbound side of Highway 20 will have one lane closed at 1st Ave. all weekend.
The ongoing work on the overpasses near Highways 40 and 13 on the West Island will force the closure of the 40 west service road at Highway 13. That will also mean the ramp from the 13 north to Highway 40 west and the ramp from Highway 40 west to the 13 south will be closed.
The Victoria Bridge will be completely off limits towards Montreal starting Friday at 8:00 P.M. until Monday at 5:00 A.M.
Construction on the new Champlain Bridge will close Route 132 east and west on the South Shore for the section of the road that travels under the bridge.
If you're traveling downtown take note, the Ste-Catherine sidewalk sale will close the popular street between Guy and Bleury from Friday morning until Sunday night.
While there are no additional closures around the Mercier Bridge, you should probably just steer clear of it anyway, it'll be a mess until late August.
