Question: What do the Ville-Marie Expressway, the Decarie Expressway, Highways 13/40, and the roads around the Champlain Bridge have in common?
Answer: They all feature sometime of closure this weekend that will likely make your drive around town a little harder.
In the Turcot Interchange the following closures will run, as usual, from Friday at 11:59 P.M. until Monday at 5:00 A.M.
The work on the Turcot Interchange will also force the closure of Notre-Dame St. between Carillon Ave. and Monk Blvd.
The northbound side of the Decarie Expressway will see a partial closure, down to just one lane, between the Turcot Interchange and the N.D.G. tunnel.
On the West Island, continued work on the Highway 13 overpass at Highway 40 will see the northbound side of the overpass closed starting at 11:00 P.M. Friday until Monday at 5:00 A.M.
The section of Highway 40 west that runs under the overpass will be closed overnight Friday into Saturday. The eastbound side will be open.
Work on the Champlain Bridge will close the eastbound Bonaventure Expressway between Exit 4 (Champlain Bridge/Highway 15/Brossard) from Friday at 10:00 P.M. to Monday at 5:00 A.M.
Crews will also close Route 132, in both directions, under the span on the South Shore.
