Summer vacation for many may be coming to an end, but crippling road work in Montreal is forever.
For what seems like the infinite weekend out of forever, the Turcot Interchange will see major closures, making getting to and from the West Island/Downtown difficult.
The following closures are in place from Friday 11:59 P.M. until Monday at 5:00 A.M.
Work on the Turcot Interchange will also force the closure of Notre-Dame St. west from Monk to Côte-Saint-Paul starting at 10:00 P.M. Friday.
The northbound side of Highway 15 will be down to one lane from Route 138/Sherbrooke Street until the NDG Tunnel. It will also be closed between Highway 10 west /Downtown/ Nuns' Island and the Gaétan Laberge entrance.
Work on the Highway 13 overpass at Highway 40 will close the 13 southbound at the exit for the 40 until the exit for the 520. The Northbound side of the Highway will be closed over the same stretch but only during the overnight hours.
The good news in all this, the lane closures that have forced the Mercier Bridge to just one lane in each direction all summer long will come to an end on Monday.
