The driver of a tow truck will be facing an arms length list of charges after leading police on a high speed chase on the South Shore overnight
It began when they tried to pull him over on Highway 15 South.
Instead he sped off at high speed and at one point his truck struck another vehicle, where one person was injured.
Police finally caught him in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu after they laid out a spike strip on the roadway.
Even then, the man refused to get out of the truck.
Police say they negotiated with him for three hours before he finally came out.
He is in custody and is expected to make a court appearance today.
