A shocking discovery on the grounds of a Montreal area elementary school.
A mother in Chateauguay said she discovered what looked like a bag of drugs on the grounds of St. Willibrord elementary on Monday night.
She later learned it was crystal meth.
"She brought it immediately to Chateauguay police where they did a small investigation and were able to determine that in fact the small bag was 3 grams of amphetamines. Now, Jarvis say she's seen empty small bags around the area before... quite commmon, according to some neighbors as well, but never with drugs actually in it", reported CTV's Amanda Kline.
Barbara Jarvis said the discovery made her sick to her stomach, that a child could have found the bag and died.
Police called it an isolated incident.
