People who like to ride their bicycles year-round are getting a boost from the Longueuil Transportation Network (RTL) and the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridge Corporation.
The RTL is launching a bus shuttle pilot project this morning that allows cyclists to take their bikes on board to cross the the Jacques-Cartier Bridge.
The service will run between the Papineau Metro Station and the Longueuil terminus and will feature busses dedicated to people with their bikes.
Each bus will be able to accommodate up to ten bikes, which will be loaded inside the bus.
The shuttle will run every 20 minutes during the morning and afternoon rush hour from today to April 13 when the Jacques Cartier Bridge bike path is expected to re-open.
