Firefighters are being hard-pressed to contain a general-alarm fire that broke out in an commercial residential complex in Magog at around 4:30 this morning.
Firefighters from half a dozen surrounding communities including Sherbrooke have been called in to help because the flames are being fanned by the strong winds this morning.
Radio Canada reports the building on rue Principal contained businesses on the ground floor with upstairs apartments.
No one has been injured, but the building has been destroyed.
