Sure it's Monday, but here's a story that can help start your week with a smile.
Florida’s Polk County Sheriff’s Office surprised a 13-year-old boy with a new bike after his old one was stolen.
Daylin Campbell got the bike last Christmas while he was battling acute myeloid leukemia. He's now in remission and is able to go outside and enjoy it. The only problem, someone stole it last Monday.
“It just didn’t sit well with us knowing someone stole 13-year-old Daylin Campbell’s bike off his front porch Monday," Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd wrote on Facebook.
So on Saturday, after someone donated a brand new bike for the cause, Grady and some of his deputies delivered the new present right to Daylin's door. They also gave him a new helmet and bike lock.
Grady and his team hoped the new bike would “help [Daylin] enjoy being a kid again.”
