If you're looking for a little extra love in your life, dozens of dogs rescued from a puppy mill are now looking for a new forever home.
Last week authorities seized 71 dogs, including Yorkshires, Malteses, and Chihuahuas from a puppy mill in Saint Gabriel de Brandon.
Police found the animals while searching the home of a woman accused for forging veterinary documents. She is now facing fraud and forgery charges.
The dogs were cleaned up and checked over by a vet. After getting the clean bill of health the dogs are now ready to be adopted at the Montreal SPCA.
If you are interested, the SPCA said new owners will need to be patient: the dogs are not housebroken and are likely to bark often.
All of the dogs will sterilized and micochipped before being adopted.
