More drama involving UPAC, Quebec's anti-corruption squad.
Among other things, unsealed documents suggest M-N-A Guy Ouellette conspired with insiders to leak information to the media.
Affidavits point to carefully-planned leaks about investigations connected to the provincial Liberal party.
PQ house leader Pascal Berubé spoke to reporters, including CTV's Maya Johnson, saying it's all a "side show, freak show".
When asked what Quebecers are supposed to make of this, Berubé added " I don't know... it's mind-blowing, it's hard to connect the dots".
He also said it's hard to find the truth.
The squad arrested Ouelette late last year, but has yet to be charged.
Public security minister Martin Coiteux has wanted the adoption of Bill 107, which would create an independent surveillance committee to oversee UPAC.
The bill would also give the anti-corruption unit more power by making it a fully-independent police force.
The opposition is questioning that especially after a report by the SQ found UPAC is plagued with problems.
Coiteux said Thursday he needs time to analyze the latest court documents.
