The Laval man arrested last Thursday for an onboard disturbance on a Sunwing flight bound for Cuba has been denied bail.
It's alleged 39 year old Charalabos Nassios was so aggressive that the pilot was forced to turn the plane around.
The flight was intercepted by American fighter jets and escorted back to Trudeau airport where Nassios was arrested and charged with assault, death threats, breach of conditions and threat to aviation security.
If convicted for interrupting the flight, Nassios could be handed a life sentence.
