There's a warning in light of recent fires in Quebec, which have resulted in families becoming homeless.
It comes from the Quebec Corporation of Master Electricians.
It's urging prudence despite being in a hurry at times, especially during the holidays.
More than a third of fires have electrical origins.
Among other things, it says, don't overcharge connections.
