At the National Assembly, it looks as though gender equity may be only skin deep.
The Canadian Press is reporting a salary analysis that looked at the 28 people who run the offices of ministers in the Couillard government.
The gender split is close to half-and-half: 15 men and 13 women.
However, there is a significant salary gap. Within the salary range of $110,000 to $146,000, the men earn, on average, $17,000 more that the women.
