A poll this morning indicates that with six days until Montrealers go to the polls to elect a new municipal government, Valérie Plante and Denis Coderre are locked in a head to head battle for the position of Mayor.
The CROP Poll conducted for the CBC indicates that the Projet Montreal leader would take 39% of the vote while Coderre would get 37%.
17% of the respondents who were asked 'Who will you vote for November 5? ' were undecided.
The margin of error is plus or minus three points.
The poll was conducted conducted between Oct. 19 and 24.
CROP's president Alain Giguère says key issues for voters are construction and traffic congestion.
