The man found with serious stab wounds in Pointe-Saint-Charles apartment building has died from his injuries.
Montreal police are investigating the overnight murder.
At about 2:00 A.M. Monday officers were called to an apartment building on Mullins St. near Wellington after a resident found a man in the hallway covered in blood.
The 26-year-old man was rushed to hospital in a critical condition with stab wounds to his upper body.
According to police the victim was conscious when he was taken to hospital but was unable to give any details concerning his attacker, he died in hospital.
Investigators have been searching the building and nearby area.
