A 24-year-old man is dead after being shot while parked at a gas station just after 11 p.m. Wednesday night.
A shooter opened fire at the car, located on Charles St. at the Saint-Janvier exit of Highway 15.

The Surete du Quebec believes the shooting took place between Rang Saint-Jacques and Rang Sainte-Henriette, but emergency services were called to a nearby gas station just off of Highway 15.
The 24-year-old man was pronounced dead on-scene.
He was with a 40-year-old man who was also shot and rushed to the hospital.

The Surete du Quebec says the man is injured, but they don't fear for his life.
Spokesperson Joyce Kemp says the suspect is still at large and no arrests have been made.
The SQ's homicide squad is collaborating with Mirabel police on the case.
Early Thursday they set up command posts at two gas station and the area where they believe the shooting took place.
They're asking for witnesses or anyone with information to call their criminal information line at 1-800-659-4264.
