A boil water advisory has been lifted for all residents of Châteauguay, after the latest test results of the water supply meeting government drinking standards.
Advisories were also lifted yesterday for residents of Brossard and St-Lambert for a seperate issue.
Fecal coliforms including E. coli bacteria were found in the local water system on Thursday.
Residents of Lemoyne and Greenfield Park are still affected by that advisory, and should continue boiling their water for at least one minute before drinking it.
Authorities in Longueuil say test results will be updated on Sunday.
