Two men who were left dangling near the top of a high-rise building by a scaffolding collapse in Cote St. Luc are back on solid ground following a dramatic rescue by the Montreal fire department.
Members of the specialized rescue unit — commonly known as the Spiderman team — were dispatched to the 23-story building at 5470 Cavendish near Kildare just before 8 a.m. Thursday, whenpart of the scaffolding gave way at the 19th floor.
A Montreal Police spokesman says one of the men sustained a minor arm injury during the incident while the other received treatment for nervous shock.
