Rosemont - La Petite-Patrie residents are being advised that there is no need to fear the wild turkeys that have been spotted around the borough recently.
Official took to Facebook late last week to post a notice that several birds are in the area but there is no need for concern.
Wild turkeys are notoriously timid and only eat fruits, seeds, vegetable shoots, nuts and insects.
The borough says anyone who spots a turkey should just leave it alone as they would any raccoon or squirrel.
They also ask that you not call 3-1-1 because borough policy to is leave the birds alone.
