Longueuil police are searching for suspects following the attempted robbery of an armoured truck in Brossard Wednesday evening.
At about 9:15 P.M. a pair of Garda agents entered a bank on Taschereau Blvd. However while inside some would be thieves chained the front door, locking the agents inside.
The suspects then rammed the armoured truck with a loader tractor several times in an attempt to get at the money inside. Despite the use of the large machinery the cunning crooks fled the scene empty handed.
No one was hurt.
