Alberta's political leaders are reacting to last night's terrorist attack in Edmonton by saying hatred has no place in the province.
Premier Rachel Notley says Albertans are stronger than any form of hate.
She called the attack an act of "indiscriminate cruelty.''
Edmonton Mayor Don Iveson is appealing for calm in the wake of the attack, telling his city it's vital that they don't succumb to hate.
Police say an officer was stabbed and several pedestrians run down with a cube van outside an Edmonton Eskimos football game.
A 30-year-old suspect is in custody and police say they think he acted alone.
However, investigators haven't ruled out that other parties might be involved.
