The sale of the old Montreal Children's hospital is final.
Montreal developer Luc Poirier, who had considered putting up a baseball stadium, bought the building in a process that started last year.
While he had considered the baseball stadium idea, he appears to have settled on a school, a community centre, a library and housing.
The MUHC said it took a cautious approach.
"This strategy resulted in an expeditious sale, which has minimized the costs of operating the legacy sites at the MUHC's expense and will contribute to the MUHC redevelopment projects," the MUHC said in a press release.
The hospital building has been empty since it moved to the new Glen site 18 months ago.
