The city of Montreal wants to know what you would like to see in the Plante administration's long-promised animal control bylaw.
It will be sounding out Montrealers online, and in public consultations, over the next two weeks.
Back in December, the newly-installed Plante administration effectively did away with Denis Coderre's ban on so-called pitbull-type dogs, and at the same time promised a vast consultation before introducing a new animal control policy sometime in the first half of 2018.
The city has now created a website, where you can take part in its online survey, and sign up for their public consultations.
The plan is to hold eight public consultations in four different boroughs: on Saturday, Feb. 24, there will be two sessions each in the Plateau and Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve boroughs, and on Saturday March 3, there'll be two sessions each in the St. Laurent and Southwest boroughs.
