The details may have changed somewhat, but the advice remains the same — if you're a motorist, you'll want to avoid going through the Turcot interchange this weekend.
First of all, from midnight Friday night until Monday at 5 a.m., the westbound sections of the Ville-Marie Expressway and Highway 20 will be a no-go zone from exit 5 in the Ville-Marie tunnel to the entrance to Ste. Anne De Bellevue Blvd.
Menawhile, the ramp from the Decarie south to the eastbound Ville-Marie will also be off-limits this weekend. and so will the northbound highway 15 ramp to the 20 west.
The 20 eastbound ramp to the Decarie north will also be off limits from 10:30 on Friday night.
St. Jacques St. will be closed each way between Decarie Blvd. and De Courcelle St., starting at 10 p.m. on Friday night, and so will the temporary on-ramp at Rose-de-Lima St.
Motorists coming up from De Courcelle from the north, and St. Jacques from the west will have to use Glen Rd. (through the stony tunnel), up to Ste. Catherine St. and De Maisonneuve Blvd. Pedestrians looking to access the area around the Glen hospital from St. Henri will have access to a shuttle bus service, running every 15-20 minutes, right through the weekend.
