Police are still looking for an elderly man who's being connected to the disappearance of a 6-year old Montreal area boy.
Authorities say 71-year old Yvon Lacasse had driven the SUV the boy and his father were found in on Friday just west of Ottawa.
A command post has been set up in the Lachute area, where Lacasse lives.
"Search continues on the ground, near a municipal rest area. At this moment, we have a canine special unit, helicopter of the Surete de Quebec, and several investigators and policemen also on the ground to pursue the search", said provincial police spokesman Claude Denis in an interview with CJAD 800 News.
Anyone with information which can possibly help police are urged to call 911.
It's believed Lacasse may have been dropped off somewhere by the father.
The boy and his father disappeared on Thursday in St Eustache, northwest of Montreal, and an Amber Alert was quickly issued.
