As the seemingly interminable work on the Turcot interchange continues, St. Jacques St. will be closed from De Courcelle St. to Decarie Blvd. right through the weekend, beginning Thursday night.
The street will be off-limits to both pedestrians and drivers from Thursday at 11:59 p.m. until Tuesday morning at 5 a.m.
Pedestrians will once again have access to a free shuttle service, bringing pedestrians to and from St. Henri running every 15-20 minutes.
Meanwhile, Highway 136 and the Pullman Loop will be shut down in both directions all weekend, from midnight Friday through 5 a.m. on Monday.
All eastbound lanes of the 136 will be shut down between the Turcot and the Cathedral St. entrance, while all westbound lanes will be closed from Exit 5 to Pullman Blvs.
The corresponding access tamps from Highway 15 north and south that connect the 20 west and the 136 east will also be closed.
