It was movie-like scene in Pointe Claire.
A front-end loader was used Friday afternoon to ram into the back of an armoured truck and opened its doors.
The truck's occupants left the truck around 2 in an alley behind a Home Depot that's part of a mall on St John's Blvd.
They went into a store.
"CTV has learned from a source that about 200-thousand dollars was stolen from the truck. At this point, there are no suspects in the case", reported CTV's Max Harrold.
Police arrested five people last December in connection with six robberies or attempted robberies involving Garda trucks between 1999 and 2015.
