Provincial police are investigating a possible kidnapping in Mirabel overnight that ended in Laval Thursday morning.
Mirabel police received a call at about 10:00 P.M. Wednesday saying a man had been abducted. An investigation overnight turned up nothing until Thursday morning, when passersby found a 44-year-old man tied up and disoriented in a ditch on Montée Champagne, in Laval.
The man has been identified as Nicholas Tsouflidis, the youngest son of Chez Cora founder Cora Tsouflidou.
Tsouflidis, who has been the company's president since 2008, told police that he was abducted at gunpoint from his home in Mirabel.
The investigation was transferred the Sûreté du Québec's major crimes unit.
