As of the Wednesday afternoon rush hour, the city says it's been making steady progress on snow removal.
As of 4 p.m. Wednesday — nearly three days into the operation — 69 per cent of Montreal's streets have been cleared of the 36 centimetres of snow which fell on Friday and Saturday.
The boroughs of St. Leonard and Anjou are well ahead of the pack — their jobs are 92 and 91 per cent complete, respectively.
Outremont (81 per cent complete) and LaSalle (80 per cent) are the only other boroughs in the 80s.
Trailing the pack is Cote-des-Neiges-NDG (50 per cent), Ahuntsic-Cartierville (56 per cent), and the Southwest borough (58 per cent).
