Snow and speed appear to be the cause of a spectacular crash in Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve early Wednesday.
Miraculously, no one was seriously hurt.
According to police at about 3:45 A.M. the driver of the white Audi lost control of his vehicle on Notre-Dame St. near Bourbonnière Ave.
The car spun out, crashed through the fence of a private business and ended up perched on the guard rail.
The driver, a 26-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. The passenger, a 27-year-old man, walked away unharmed.
Emergency crews spent about an hour at the scene cleaning it up and towing the car before the stretch of road re-opened shortly after 5:00 A.M.
