The owners of the Val Saint-Côme ski hill in the Lanaudière have posted a $5000 reward for the capture of the person who damaged the hill's snow-making system.
The managing director Maxime Legros tells the Journal de Montreal that last Thursday someone got onto the hill and connected a water pipe to a compressed air pipe causing extensive damage to the equipment.
The hill has since had to rent snow-making equipment while it's system is repaired.
Its the second time this season that the hill has been targeted.
In November, some air hoses had been cut.
The Sûreté du Québec has begun an investigation.
