For the fourth time in more than a year, the statue of Sir John A. Macdonald overlooking Place du Canada has been hit by spray-paint vandals.
Police say the statue was doused in red paint, much like it was during the earlier incidents. No arrests have been made.
The statue of Canada's first prime minister has been targeted by anti-racist and anti-colonial groups in the past, with one of the groups going so far as to film their act, in November 2017.
