A line of severe thunderstorms made its way across Quebec Wednesday night, bringing with it strong winds, heavy rain and in some places, nickel-size hail.
Hydro Quebec says the weather caused numerous outages across the province.
As of 10pm, over 2200 customers were without power.
In Montreal, 300 homes and businesses are affected, 1300 in south shore communities in the Monteregie, as well as several dozen households in Laval, the Lanaudiere and Laurentiens.
Hydro says crews are working to restore the electricity as quickly as possible.
