Bus service resumes Thursday at 4 Montreal school boards affected by a 2 day strike this week.
A tentative deal has been reached between the union representing 330 school bus drivers and the employer, Autobus Transco, putting an end to the pressure tactics.
The agreement still needs to be put to a vote.
There is no word on what the deal involves, but the sticking points were salaries and the duration of their agreement.
15 thousand school children, onĀ 300 bus routes, had to find other ways to get to school Tuesday and Wednesday after the drivers walked off the job.
The boards affected were Lester B. Pearson, English Montreal, Marguerite-Bourgeoys, Commission scolaire de Montreal, as well as College Ste. Anne.
