Good news for SAQ shoppers.
Workers have overwhelmingly voted to ratify an agreement in principle.
"We are really happy, we are pleased with the results. They agreed 93 per cent. It will run for another four years", said union spokesman Simon Desjardins in an interview with CJAD 800 News.
Among other things, there are more benefits for part time workers involving days off.
But, there's also good news regarding their salary.
"Now, even as a part time worker, you will have salary steps based on a specific rule, but, basically, every 2 years, you are certain to get a raise", added Desjardins.
The vote ends a labor conflict that saw several one-day strikes in 2018.
